Lindsay Yard - Owned and built by Calgary Free-mo
Type of module: Yard
An 8 track staging yard built on four 6'2" sections and a 5' section.
Lindsay Yard is now comprised of two power districts, running longitudinally through the yard, with 4 long tracks on one of the power districts and the centre crossover section provides for storage of 6 short trains on the other district. The end throat modules provide pocket tracks for loco storage and have the potential for connecting to other modules intended to join directly to the yard for additional possibilities (say, a Coach yard on an Engine Servicing module for example).
The yard is intended to join up with the other two 5' modules, one a double crossover module and another a double to single module.
Named after Carl Van Veen's daughter in honour of him being the "founder" of the Calgary Free-mo group.
This module is considered complete!
