Green River - Dash Loops - Tracy's Corner - Owned and built by Lorne Rouleau

Green River modules have been modelled after the Green River Wyoming crew change point on the Union Pacific, the track design was taken directly from the prototype. scenery has been partially completed, the station (not yet constructed)is a whistle stop for amtrak & the control room for the main line from rawlins to granger wy (pre ctc). this yard throat is the lead in to the loops. with a left & right crossover on the double track main, 14 #8 & 5 #6 shinohara switches, green river will be a busy location for any railfan.
All of the green river modules are reclaimed benchwork from a home layout that was dismantled when I moved to my current address. some of the original roadbed is being used. many of the switches are in their original locations. the control panel is the original from the home layout. another panel for the outside of the layout will be constructed in the future.
I have to thank my wife tracy, without her help & passion for modelling there would be no Green River
