Type of module: Double to Single Track Main
Modelling a generic industrial area, this long double-to-single track 3 section module contained a 3 track automobile distribution facility capable of hosting 24+ autoracks on one side of the mainline and indoor and outdoor warehouse space still served by rail on the other side of the main. One end of the module is double-track, the other single, transitioning with a Fast-Tracks built #6 Wye switch, providing the ability to get around cars sitting on one of the mains being switched or to get around the train switching out the Auto distribution facility.
This module also has all turnouts (except two) made using the Fast-Tracks assembly fixtures, all controlled by Tortoises operated by Digitrax DS64's.
This module has been sold out of the Calgary Free-mo group, to a member of the Chilliwack Model Railway Club. This module will potentially appear again in Calgary Free-mo group setups, but under new ownership.
This module is currently Retired.
